How SMS opt-in works
Irregardless Notifications · verbal opt-in
Irregardless, LLC sends text messages only to callers who agree to receive them during a phone call. Every call to a line we operate begins with a notice that the call may be recorded. Before sending any text, the voice assistant asks for permission and waits for a clear “yes.” The caller’s answer is saved in the call recording and transcript, together with the date, time, and phone number.
The opt-in script
Thanks for calling. This call may be recorded and transcribed. How can I help?
I’d like to schedule an inspection.
You’re booked for Tuesday at 10 a.m. Can I text a confirmation and a link to upload photos to the number you’re calling from? You’ll get about 1–5 messages about this request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Yes, that’s fine.
Great, you’ll get a text from us shortly.
What happens next
- If the caller says yes, we send a first message that names the sender and includes opt-out instructions:
“Irregardless: Your inspection is confirmed for Tue 10:00 AM. Upload photos: https://upload.irregardless.co/abc123. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.” - If the caller declines or doesn’t answer clearly, we don’t send any text messages.
- Replying STOP opts the number out right away. Replying HELP returns contact information.
- Messages are transactional only (confirmations, upload links, and status updates). No marketing.
